about me
Life is never a straight line! I worked for two of Canada's largest television networks for 15 years before launching my own international sales training company.
I wrote piles of articles, ezines and 2 quirky business books that attracted a ton of media, readers and business. Personal essays about life are my love so I took 10 years of writing classes, read a hundred writing books and wrote daily. Joy!
In 2016 I received a breast cancer diagnosis. After a year of treatment (and good-bye cancer!), I wrote my book, A Fine Mess, found a publisher, and it's an Amazon best-seller! I also decided to blow up my 18 year company and redirect all of my passion to writing, and helping women write.
Now I'm a full-time writer, author, and essayist; my work has been featured on NBC News, the Globe and Mail; and I'm a top writer for Medium.com. I'm also a member of the Outdoor Writers of Canada.
I'm just getting started. Because I want to help you write.

I'm Emilia Bonanno Zanetti, I'm a graphic designer, from Mendoza, Argentina. I did my studies at the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo. For 3 years I've been working in different areas of graphic design, such as editorial design, label design, and branding. I've also been a dancer since I was little, I love dogs, traveling, reading, and films. I'm passionate and creative!

Homegrown tomatoes are my favorite! My little garden produces about a 100 lbs so I preserve many of them. The rest of the year? I won't eat a grocery store tomato. Ever.

I don't often buy new furniture, art or dishes as I'm such a believer of items with a story. I love mixing the old with new and in my family, we call thrifting: Adventure Shopping. Did I mention my singing bird clock?

I spend loads of time in the boreal forest and it is one of the joys of my life. I'm a forager and I've taken over 32 hours of classes on wild mushrooms alone. I kid you not.
